Pregnant Woman, 26-Year-Old Sister Accused of Stabbing Chicken Restaurant Worker Over Wrong Order — What Happened Next Will Shock You

A disturbing incident at a Detroit chicken restaurant has left a 23-year-old employee hospitalized after a dispute over a wrong food order allegedly turned violent.

According to police, 29-year-old Brianna Long and her 26-year-old sister Kierianna Long are facing serious charges, including assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to cause great bodily harm, and assault with a dangerous weapon. The incident reportedly took place on May 30 at a restaurant located on the 17100 block of East Warren Avenue.

Investigators say the trouble began after the sisters received the wrong order at the drive-thru. Instead of leaving, they allegedly went inside and confronted the employee, and the situation quickly escalated into a chase through the restaurant.

Police claim the sisters ran behind the counter, chasing the worker while hurling pots, pans, and other items at her. At one point, one of the sisters allegedly grabbed a pot of hot grease and threw it directly at the employee.

In what authorities describe as a desperate act of self-defense, the employee reportedly threw a knife toward the sisters to protect herself. That’s when, prosecutors say, Kierianna Long picked up the same knife and stabbed the worker in the stomach.

The injured employee managed to escape to her car, locked herself inside, and called for help. Paramedics rushed her to the hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery.

Both sisters allegedly fled the scene but were later tracked down and arrested.

However, the defense tells a very different story. Attorneys representing the sisters claim the employee was actually the aggressor, alleging she made a dismissive comment about the wrong order and was the first to throw items at the women.

Adding another layer to the case, Brianna Long was reportedly nine months pregnant at the time of her arrest and gave birth just days later.

Bond has been set at $25,000 for Brianna and $50,000 for Kierianna. Both sisters remain in custody and are scheduled to appear in court again on June 17.

This is a sensitive topic, and if you or someone you know is affected by violence and needs support, reaching out to local authorities or a counselor can help.
