MEDFORD TOWNSHIP, New Jersey — A peaceful afternoon at a local park turned into something no child should ever experience — and the man responsible is still out there.
Medford Township police are actively searching for a man accused of exposing himself to two underage girls at Bob Bende Park on Mount Holly Road on April 12.
It happened in the middle of the day.
Just before 1:30 p.m., while families and players filled the park for a soccer tournament nearby, the suspect allegedly approached the two girls and exposed himself before walking away and leaving the area.
Nobody Spoke Up — Until the Next Day
What makes this case especially troubling is the silence that followed.
Despite a large crowd gathered at the park for the tournament, not a single person reported the incident on the day it happened. Police did not learn about the alleged exposure until the following day.
That delay gave the suspect a significant head start.
