The girls’ basketball team hosted Rossview in a Region 7, District 13 matchup. The Coyotes lost 59-37.
The boys’ basketball team faced off against Rossview at home. The Coyotes fell 63-37 to the District 10-AAA leading Hawks. Devin Smith led the squad with 17 in the loss.

Girls’ basketball battled Clarksville High at home. The Wildcats proved too much for the Coyotes, who fell 71-38. Madziyonna Calloway led the Coyotes in scoring with 15. Ariy Denson and Serena Bassham bucketed 10 points each in the loss. The Coyotes’ record now stands at 2-13 and 1-3 in district play on the season.
Boys’ basketball took on Clarksville High School at home. The Coyotes dropped their third straight 62-59. The team was led in scoring by Branden Dugger with 16 points. Kameron Bowers chipped in 11 and Kayden Pace 10 to lead the Coyotes. The Coyotes’ record fell to 14-8 and 2-3 in district play.
Next up for both teams is Dickson County at home on Monday, Jan. 30. The next district contests are at home against Springfield High School on Tuesday, Jan. 31, for Senior Night.
