The soccer squad went 1-1 for the week with a 9-0 loss to Rossview and a 3-1 victory over Northeast High School.

In a non-district contest, the Rossview Hawks scored early and often to give the Coyotes their worst loss since the 2021-2022 season. The Hawks scored four goals in the first half and five in the second, while defensively shutting out the Coyotes.
Thursday, May 2
Looking to wipe the memory of Tuesday’s game away, the Coyotes traveled down Tiny Town Road to face rival Northeast Eagles and came away with a 3-1 victory.
Senior Manny Mendez continued his superb senior season with a hat trick. Two of the goals were the result of Eagle penalties in the box.
The Coyotes finished their regular season with a 9-4-1 record, including a 3-1 district mark. They will be in action on Tuesday at home against either Kenwood or Henry County in the Class 3A District 14 tournament.
