Agree or Not: What are the five best fast-food places in Clarksville?

Everyone knows Clarksville is growing at a spectacular rate. With this population growth also comes new businesses, specifically more fast-food places.

So what are the best fast-food places in Clarksville?

Number 1 for pizza: I’m not including Old Chicago here, although you can get it to go. It’s pretty expensive. For inexpensive, I’m going with Jet’s Pizza. I love the 4- or 8-corner pizza with sausage and pepperoni. It’s deep dish with a crispy crust. The Jet’s Bread is also great. A close runner-up for me is Marco’s Pizza. The sauce and cheese are great.

Number 1 for Chinese: Panda Express. There might be better places, but there are so many Chinese take-out places that no one can possibly visit all of them. I love the Sesame Chicken from Panda Express.

Number 1 for chicken: If you just want some nuggets, then Chick-fil-A is the place. But if you want fried chicken, then Popeye’s is the place. Their spicy chicken has just the right amount of spice. Their biscuits are nothing to sneeze at, either. However, if you want chicken tenders, then Zaxby’s is the place to go. Dunk them in Zax Sauce.

Number 1 for hamburgers: Culver’s. Clarksville has so many burger places now. Although Five Guys might be better, they are way too expensive to make the cut. The Culver’s Bacon Deluxe hits the spot every time.

But Number 1 for french fries: Freddy’s. If Chick-fil-A is God’s chicken, then Freddy’s is God’s french fries. They are thin and crispy and oh-so-good. Dip them in Freddy’s Fry Sauce, original or spicy.

Number 1 for Mexican: Taco Johns. I know many people prefer Taco Bell, but all I have to say is two words: potato oles. Here’s the trick–get some cheese sauce and put some hot sauce in it. Dip your potato oles in there and tell me it’s not the best. Plus, the tacos taste better than Taco Bell, in my opinion.
