Kam Bowers is a sophomore basketball player for the Coyotes basketball team. He plays point guard. As a freshman, he averaged 12 points per game last season.

1. How long have you been playing basketball?

“10 years

2. What is your favorite part about playing this sport?

“My favorite part about playing basketball is seeing self-improvement.”

3. How do you manage your time between school, practice, and games?

“I usually get all my homework done during school if not then during free time

4. What is your favorite memory or moment as a student-athlete?

“Starting varsity as a freshman”

5. Who is your biggest role model and why?

“My dad because he motivates me to never give up and keep going.”

6. Who is your biggest athletic inspiration, and why?

“Lebron James. I have been watching him since I was a little kid”

7. What is the best advice you have ever received from a coach?

“[The] best advice is to always stay humble because anything can get taken away at any given moment.”

8. What is your favorite song to listen to prior to competing?

“Any song by Lil Baby”

9. Have you lived in Clarksville your entire life? If not, where have you lived?

“I did not; I lived in North Carolina, Virginia, Alaska, and Texas. I had moved to Tennessee from the military. My favorite state was Texas because there are many attractions and more things to do.”

10. Who are your favorite teams?

“Lakers for basketball and football is the Ravens”
