Heritage Fest will be a celebration designed to highlight some of the unique historical and cultural aspects of Clarksville and the Montgomery County area. Heritage Fest will take place at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library on Saturday, April 20 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
“Our local community features unique facets of Tennessee history from Dunbar Cave art and Mound Builder culture all the way up to Clarksville and Montgomery County as we see it today,” said Christina Riedel, Library Director. “Heritage Fest will bring together, under one roof, the many stories and events that have made our hometown special.”
Along with panel discussions, Heritage Fest will include demonstrations, representatives from local historic sites, local authors of historical works, culture groups, genealogy instruction, crafts for the kids, and more. This free program is open for all ages and those who are interested in the special stories and history of our local community.
