West+Creek+celebrates+Black+History+Month

To celebrate Black History Month, students will have the opportunity to participate in a trivia contest on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Students may also participate in a door-decorating contest.

A trivia question will be read over the intercom in the morning, and students be able to research the answer. Students who find the answer will drop their answers in a dropbox for each grade level in the main hallway. Daily prizes will be awarded.

Theme days are as follows:

Monday, Feb. 26–Unity Day. Students are encouraged to wear red, green and yellow.

Tuesday, Feb. 27–Sunday’s Best on Tuesday. Students are encouraged to dress their Sunday best.

Thursday, Feb. 29–Get Aboard the Soul Train. Students are encouraged to wear 1970s attire.
