Recently, the Pack Playhouse performed She Kills Monsters, a play by Qui Nguyen.

This outstanding performance by the West Creek Theater department got nonstop praises for it.

Theater teacher and director Taylor Lindsey said that she was so proud of her cast and what happened. “This is going to be the best damn performance West Creek has ever seen,” Ms. Lindsey said.  And she was right. This was the best performance West Creek had ever seen. From the lighting to the costumes to the emotion emitted from each person’s performance and character was just outstanding.

This dramatic comedy got many “wows” and “woah’s” from almost a packed house each night.

“I couldn’t ask for a better cast. This is the best cast I’ve ever had,” Ms. Lindsey said.  “This is the best show I’ve ever directed.”

Co-director Erica Zacharias, in her first show as a co-director, said, “It was weird not being on stage, but being able to see the growth of the show from the perspective of someone who isn’t in it was really amazing.”

Zacharias admits that her role was stressful, but she would definitely want to direct her own productions.  I have a lot of ideas for a lot of things, for everything I’ve been in and even just things I’ve seen, and I would love to have the opportunity or capacity to bring that to life.”

The Pack Playhouse’s next show, Addict, will be performed from April 21-23.
