Key Club reintroduced to school after absence

First project is providing Easter baskets to foster children
Key Club reintroduced to school after absence

After an absence of a few years, the Key Club has returned to West Creek under the sponsorship of English teacher Dr. Theresa Diaz. The club elected officers before Spring Break and jumped right into its first event, providing Montgomery County’s foster children an Easter surprise.

The club’s officers include the following students:

  • Club Editor Evalyn Ujwok
  • Treasurer Halina Photopulos

  • Communications Officer Aizedehinomwan Otamere

The club seeks donations for its Easter service project through March 23.

For younger children, the following items are accepted:

To donate materials, drop them off in Dr.Diaz’s room in the English hallway. There will be a box outside her door. 

Students will receive community service hours and a chance to win prizes.

Teachers’, staffs’, and family members’ names will be placed in a drawing for prizes.
